Have you ever thought about becoming a photographer? Surprisingly, many of us have at some point. There is something about the handheld that sparks the imagination. It seems pretty glamorous job - travel the world making bundles of money recording some of the most beautiful places and a woman in the world has to offer. But then reality kicks in and you do nothing about it. You take a photo break, go home and go to work swearing someone else's happiness.
Well, I can not get to be a jet-setting photographer, but you can at least make a tidy income from your photography.
Here's how. We live in a media hungry world. Wherever we go we are constantly bombarded with images. Everywhere we go, we are assaulted with images something or other is trying to sell us things. This request for pictures throughout the world. And if you think about it, there are not enough professional photographers to meet the constant demand for ad hungry agencies.There can not be otherwise we will all be professionals.
So how do you ad agencies and companies to get their pictures. Simple. They use something called a stock photography agency. These agencies exist to act as an intermediary between you as the photographer and the company as a customer. They bring you together. a bit like eBay in a sense.
Believe it or not, you could be sitting on a nice little residual income without knowing it.
As a photographer, you can upload your photos where stock are registered in the database. buyer comes along, like a photograph and it pays off to your specific needs. The good news is, your picture stays in place for selling and making money again, quite literally, in the years to come.
Do your photos need to be a great ad? Not at all. You just have to know a few little tips and tricks, and could soon be making cash with your camera.
